Research Interests
Development and exploration of a web-based resource platform for introductory psychology courses. In its most basic form, the web resources are an online platform upon which the course resources are housed and available to students on demand. At a somewhat more complex level, the platform is also the process that efficiently integrates the course resources and offers tools to assist students in mastering the concepts covered in the course. The web resources can also be considered as a potential presentation platform (online or face-to-face course) which combines the “sage on the stage” with student initiated learning. Streaming video, lecture notes, text material, and interactive learning activities can be effectively integrated within a single process that appears seamless to the user.
